Who is who
We have a number of key people supporting this group:

Dr. Foster is the GP at the University Health Centre

Professor Stoet is a professor of psychology and the academic support for this group (he also has a popular YouTube channel on type 1 diabetes, which you can watch here).

Ms. Megan Thornhill, who is a PhD student in the department of psychology. She studies how life is for students with type 1 diabetes.

Upcoming events

Location is on campus, exact location will be provided later.
From 12 to 1 PM, there is a great free lunch with other students with diabetes. You do not need an appointment for this.
Where: To be announced
The free lunch is only for students who take insulin.
In the morning in the Universith Health Centre, clinical staff will see individual students with diabetes. You can come with any question for the GP or specialist diabetes team you may have. If you are on their list, they might also call you to invite you.
You will be able to meet with someone from the North East Essex Diabetes Service team. You can contact the University Medical Centre for details via phone 01206 728585 or via their website.
